1. About us

Veerpal is an online store for Punjabi suits, Indian wear and digital suit stitching guides, operating at veerstore.org. You can contact us at any time at [email protected].

2. What we sell

• Ready-made clothing: suits and Indian wear that are already stitched and sold in standard sizes.
• Custom-stitched orders: garments stitched, altered or tailored to the measurements, design choices or other instructions you give us.
• Digital suit stitching guides: downloadable guides delivered electronically. No physical product is shipped.

3. Product information and colours

We work hard to describe and photograph every product accurately. Colours can look different from one screen to another, and handwork such as embroidery, dyeing and printing can vary slightly from piece to piece. These small variations are part of the character of the garment and are not defects.

Sizes and measurements are approximate. Please check the size details on each product page before you order. Images labelled as illustrative are shown for inspiration and may not represent a specific product for sale.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Applicable taxes and shipping charges are added at checkout and shown to you before you pay. We may change our prices at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already confirmed.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details are entered into and handled by Stripe; Veerpal never sees or stores your full card number. By paying, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.

If a product is listed at the wrong price or with the wrong details because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after it has been confirmed. We will tell you before we do so.

5. Orders

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the products in it. A contract is formed when we email you an order confirmation. Please check the confirmation carefully and contact us straight away if anything is wrong.

We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if a payment cannot be verified, or if there has been a pricing error. If we cancel an order, we will refund everything you paid for it in full.

6. Custom-stitched orders

You are responsible for giving us accurate measurements and clear design instructions. We stitch to the measurements and choices you submit, so please review them carefully before you confirm your order. Production times are estimates.

Changes and cancellations are only possible before we begin work on your order. Because custom pieces are made especially for you, custom-stitched orders are final sale. They cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or defective, or were not made to the measurements and instructions you gave us, as set out in our Refund Policy.

7. Digital suit stitching guides

Delivery. After your payment is confirmed, we will deliver your guide electronically by download link or email. If it has not arrived within 24 hours, please check your spam or junk folder and then contact us.

Your licence. When you buy a guide, you receive a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use it to stitch garments. The guide itself remains our property. You may not copy, share, resell, redistribute, upload or publish the guide or any part of it, or share your download link with anyone else.

No refunds. All digital suit stitching guides are non-refundable and all sales are final. A digital guide is delivered instantly and cannot be returned, so we do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges on guides once purchased. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this. If your file is damaged or does not arrive, we will send you a working copy, as explained in our Refund Policy.

Results. Stitching results depend on your skill, fabric, equipment and measurements. We cannot guarantee a particular result from using a guide.

8. Shipping and delivery

We ship physical orders to the address you provide at checkout. Shipping charges and estimated delivery times are shown before you pay; delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Please make sure your address is correct. If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply to send it again.

Responsibility for an order passes to you once it has been delivered to your shipping address. If we ship your order outside Canada, any customs duties, import taxes and brokerage fees charged by the destination country are your responsibility.

If a physical order has not been delivered within 30 days after the estimated delivery date (or within 30 days of your order if no date was given), you may cancel it and receive a full refund.

9. Returns and refunds

Our Refund Policy forms part of these Terms. In short: unworn ready-made clothing can be returned within 14 days of delivery, custom-stitched orders are final sale, and digital suit stitching guides are non-refundable.

10. Using our website

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose; not to place false or fraudulent orders; not to interfere with the Site’s security or operation; and not to copy, scrape or republish the Site’s content without our written permission. We may suspend or refuse service to anyone who breaks these Terms.

11. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including the Veerpal name and logo, text, photographs, illustrations, designs and stitching guides, belongs to Veerpal or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use it without our written permission, except as allowed for a digital guide you have purchased.

12. Privacy

We collect only the personal information we need to process and deliver your order and to reply to you, such as your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, order details and, for custom orders, your measurements. Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy.

We use your information only to run our store and to communicate with you about your orders. We do not sell it. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate, such as Stripe, shipping carriers and our email provider, or where the law requires it. To ask what information we hold about you, or to correct it, email [email protected].

13. Liability

The Site and its content are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veerpal is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or our products, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of Ontario or of the place where you live that cannot be waived or limited by agreement.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of Ontario, unless the consumer protection law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there. Before starting any formal claim, please contact us; most problems can be resolved quickly.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Site when you place an order is the one that applies to that order. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the Terms last changed.
